Visualize Your Network

NetBrain can decode a complex network in minutes and provides a unique high-capacity map to visualize and understand the network. With NetBrain Workstation, you can create a network diagram in seconds and NetBrain map is not only a static topology map, but also a dynamic and interactive map. Here are just a few tasks you can do on the NetBrain map:

◇ Engineers can easily create a network topology using only two end points.
◇ Engineers can also highlight routing protocols right on the map to illustrate the configuration of dynamic routing and visualize how source and destination route propagate through the network by design.
◇ With a simple scroll of the mouse wheel, engineer can zoom in to see more network information detail, such as IP, routing protocols, multicasting, and much more right on the map.
Understanding your network design

With NetBrain Workstation's Design Reader, you are able to select one or two devices from the network and dissect the device's configuration by selecting the part of configuration that you care about. For example, if you select BGP routing for a device and then select a neighboring device, NetBrain Workstation will automatically isolates the GBP configurations for the two devices.

Real-time Troubleshooting

When network problems arise, NetBrain Workstation allows engineers to visualize the topology and design around the problem area. Engineers can diagnose the performance and connectivity problem of the network via NetBrain Workstation's diagnostic monitoring feature. With a simple click, engineers can instantly visualize the devices' performance and connectivity stats right on the map; with performance and connectivity information being refreshed automatically, engineers can have real-time knowledge of their network when troubleshooting.

Wouldn't it be nice to compare your network design changes with the ideal state so as to reduce or eliminate outages? Well, with NetBrain Workstation, you can! With a simple click, NetBrain Workstation can power up its robust simulation engine that will create a virtual network environment for engineers. With live benchmarked network data side by side with virtual simulated network data, engineers can compare simulated routing table with live routing table to reveal what has been changed and what are the impacts.

Collaboration

Today network engineers document and share their network designs using the text description and Visio diagramming. This traditional documenting method has proved to be insufficient due to the increasing complexity of the technology NetBrain Workstation helps to alleviate this issue by innovating a better way to document and share the network knowledge.
